On January 29, the EastWest Institute will host the final in a series of three U.S.-China strategic seminars, which have been held throughout the past year. This series seeks to facilitate U.S. long-term strategic planning through promulgating innovative ideas and solutions, building trust among influential stakeholders from disparate sectors and anticipating new challenges and opportunities in U.S.-China relations.
The seminar series is co-sponsored and organized by the Red Bison Advisory Group.
Admiral William A. Owens, former vice chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff and co-founder and executive chairman of the Red Bison Advisory Group, will join Ambassador Cameron Munter, EWI's chief executive officer and president, and Dr. Lora Saalman, vice president of the EWI Asia-Pacific program, for a forward-looking discussion on the challenges and opportunities that may evolve from the current China-U.S. economic tensions and development trajectory.
