On November 15, 2016, Perot Fellow and Senior Vice President of Strategic Trust-building and Track 2 Diplomacy David J. Firestein joined the Mandarin-language NTDTV program “Zooming In” to evaluate the challenges and opportunities facing the U.S. following the election of Donald Trump. In addition to providing analysis on U.S. domestic politics in the wake of the election, Firestein delved into the question of whether existing U.S. foreign policy will undergo any significant changes under the Trump presidency, predicting more continuity than change with respect to Asia and China policy.
