Dale Pfeifer was EWI's Deputy Director of Leadership Programs and Global Networks until July 2009. She has a strong background in network development, leadership research and leadership development.
At EWI, she designed and convened global, issue-specific, multi-stakeholder networks including the Global Leadership Consortium, the world’s first meta-network of top global policy think tanks. Previously, she served as Acting Director and Research Fellow of the Centre for the Study of Leadership at Victoria University in New Zealand where she engaged in international research collaborations and presented her work at international forums including the Center for Public Leadership at Harvard University (USA), the University of New Delhi (India), Nanyang Business School (Singapore), the University of Ulster (Northern Ireland), and the Academy of Management Meetings (USA).
Dale has co-led significant leadership development initiatives in the corporate, public, and university sectors, and was a core team member in the development of a Maori Leadership Development Centre. She holds a Masters in Communication Management, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Psychology, all from Massey University, New Zealand.
